ИЗУЧЕНИЕ МИГРАЦИЙ БЕЛОКРЫЛКИ МЕЖДУ ОРАНЖЕРЕЯМИ

In the spring of 2025, the ladybird Cheilomenes sexmaculata (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) has been released in the greenhouse "Plants of Australia and New Zealand" of the Botanical Garden of the RAS. The aim of the research is to estimate the effect of the predator on the migratory activity of the greenhouse whitefly Trialeurodes vaporariorum West. (Hemiptera, Aleyrodidae). Yellow sticky traps were used for monitoring of whitefly. Within three weeks after the release of the predator, there were no movements of the pest between greenhouses.
