DimplePIR: Multi-Dimensional SimplePIR Through Hierarchical Indexing

We present DimplePIR, a single-server private information retrieval framework from a hierarchical indexing perspective, which significantly reduces the theoretical communication complexity of SimplePIR. Our work introduces a PIR framework that enables a dynamic communicationcomputational trade-off. Furthermore, we propose a server-side recovery technique that effectively reduces the online communication overhead.
