A Systematic Literature Review On Effective Models Mathematics Learning

Mathematics education plays a crucial role in shaping students' competencies and critical thinking skills. The success of mathematics learning is strongly influenced by the selection of a learning model that suits the students' characteristics and the learning context. This study reviews several mathematics learning models, namely the Contextual Learning Model, the Cooperative Learning Model, the Inquiry Learning Model, the Technology-Based Learning Model, and the Project-Based Learning Model. The research method used is a literature study with a critical analysis of previous research results. The review results indicate that each model has its own advantages, but the Contextual Learning Model is considered the most effective for mathematics learning because it is able to link mathematical concepts to real-world situations, increase student engagement and motivation, develop critical thinking skills, and facilitate in-depth conceptual understanding. This approach also helps students understand the relevance of mathematics in everyday life and increases their confidence in solving mathematical problems.
