Weaponised Admissions and GDPR: Survivor Protection in the Age of Digital Disclosure
This paper is about what happens when survivors speak, and how those words can be twisted, republished, and used against us. It explores the idea of weaponised admissions: disclosures that were meant to heal or clarify, but instead get turned into tools of harm. It also looks at how the GDPR, Europe’s data protection law, can help survivors reclaim control over what’s said, shared, and stored about us. This isn’t just theory. It’s lived experience, backed by legal rights and survivor-led strategy.
