The Illusions of Al-Hafidh Al-Mazi in His Book Tuhfat Al-Ashraf in Maarifat Al-Atraf. A critical study of applied examples.

      This research aims to reveal and explain some of the illusions of Al-Hafidh Al-Mazi, that have been occurred when he edited the narrators of Hadiths of the six books. We found that he had fallen into various illusions. Sometimes he is deluded of being another narrator, sometimes he attributes a Hadith to a book or a chapter in Bukhari or Muslim but it is not there; and sometimes in assigning the narrator's name and other illusions that we mentioned in the body of the research, explained with the applied examples.
