FluxSkin: A Global Humanitarian Sanitary Innovation — Open Design Release (v1.0)
FluxSkin is an open-design humanitarian menstrual hygiene innovation created by Soroush Yousefi (2025). It introduces a new generation of sanitary pads designed to eliminate twelve major global menstrual health problems — including leakage, irritation, poor ventilation, odor, bacterial growth, discomfort, and affordability barriers. FluxSkin is released as a three-version system: • FluxSkin One — a one-time-use biodegradable pad, ultra-low-cost (~$0.09–$0.11 USD), designed for all climates and immediate global accessibility. • FluxSkin Two — a reusable version featuring self-cleaning, rapid-dry structure, and optional portable Dock cleaning unit for safe, hygienic reuse. • FluxSkin V3 — a long-term smart model with self-cleaning, battery-free biological sensors (pH, temperature, humidity, flow), adaptive 360° sealing, and micro-ventilation for medical-grade comfort. All versions prioritize health, comfort, and environmental sustainability while remaining affordable and locally manufacturable. This document (v1.0) officially releases FluxSkin as an open humanitarian design — free for global use, research, and non-commercial production, to advance menstrual health equity worldwide.
