Paper 25 The Coherence Lagrangian: Deriving Physical Laws from Strain Propagation in the Holosphere Lattice
This paper introduces a Lagrangian framework for Holosphere Theory, where all physical laws emerge from angular coherence strain in a discrete, rotating lattice of nested Planck-scale spheres. In this model, space, time, energy, and force are not fundamental, but arise from the propagation of quantized angular strain—carried by topological defects—through a coherence-preserving lattice geometry. We define a discrete action principle based on angular strain minimization and construct a coherence Lagrangian from local phase gradients. This framework replaces spacetime curvature and probabilistic amplitudes with discrete coherence fields. Using this foundation, we derive classical force laws, gravitational time dilation, inertia, and quantum phenomena such as tunneling and quantization as emergent behaviors of lattice strain dynamics. A key result is the derivation of the Born Rule from first principles: the coherence amplitude ψcoh=sinθcosϕ\psi_{\text{coh}} = \sin\theta \cos\phiψcoh=sinθcosϕ emerges as the lowest-order eigenmode of the angular Lagrangian. Squaring this amplitude yields a real-valued coherence density, and probabilities are computed from the volume of phase-aligned paths, matching the standard quantum prediction. This coherence-based approach unifies classical and quantum behavior in a fully discrete, testable framework. It provides a geometric foundation for quantum mechanics, relativistic effects, and gravitational phenomena without invoking a continuous spacetime manifold. The Coherence Lagrangian serves as a core mathematical structure for Holosphere Theory and offers falsifiable predictions across quantum and cosmological domains.
