Investigation of the communication range of radio relay lines in the frequency band 7-60 GHz in conditions of water barriers

The article considers the problem of assessing the suitability of radio relay communication line intervals in conditions of water barriers without access to automated design systems on digital maps. It is shown that for organizations that do not have such design systems, reference data is needed that takes into account the capabilities of the communication systems being studied and the regional characteristics of the project implementation sites. To solve this problem, the authors use the ONEPLAN RPLS-DB software to plan and optimize radio relay communication in a simple and intuitive interface. They also note that the accuracy of the mathematical model of a network depends on how fully the initial terrain data is included in, and that the use of automated wireless network design systems makes it possible to improve the quality of information transmission in the network and optimize its electromagnetic compatibility with wireless networks of other standards.
