China's Military Opportunities for the Three-Body Computing Constellation (3BCC) Concept

<ns3:p>China’s Three-Body Computing Constellation (3BCC) project represents a significant step in the evolution of space infrastructure, moving from traditional Earth-based computing to advanced in-orbit computing. This paper examines the potential military implications of this concept in the context of China’s military strategy, civil-military fusion (MCF), and pursuit of information dominance. The study draws on available sources to identify how the 3BCC’s computational and technological capabilities can be used to enhance intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, improve command and control (C2), enable precision strikes, and support “smart warfare” and hybrid strategies. The broader context of technological competition and related threats to global security is also discussed.</ns3:p>
