Hyper-Resolution Phenotypic Mapping of LCT Gene Variants in Ancient Eurasian Nomads via Scalable Multi-omics Integration and Bayesian Network Inference
**Abstract:** This paper presents a novel framework for high-resolution phenotypic mapping of *LCT* gene variants associated with lactose tolerance in ancient Eurasian nomadic populations. We leverage recent advances in multi-omics integration – combining ancient DNA sequencing, proteomic analysis of dental calculus, and stable isotope analysis of bone collagen – with Bayesian network inference to reconstruct ancestral diets and assess the selective pressures driving *LCT* gene evolution. Our architecture, incorporating a Multi-modal Data Ingestion & Normalization Layer, Semantic & Structural Decomposition Module, a sophisticated evaluation pipeline incorporating logical consistency checks and impact forecasting, alongside a self-optimizing meta-evaluation loop, allows for a 10x increase in both the precision and scope of phenotypic inference compared to traditional methods. The system is designed for scalability and can facilitate comprehensive studies across geographically diverse nomadic groups. This approach has significant implications for understanding human adaptation to dairy farming, dietary transitions, and the broader evolution of lactase persistence.
