Boris Semenovich can be called a child prodigy in surgery. Already in his youth, he mastered such complex surgical interventions as esophageal plastic surgery and pancreatoduodenal resection. He performed many progressive operations in Novosibirsk first, and then taught them to young specialists. In the late 80s, Boris Semenovich, together with Olga Borisovna Dobryakova, became the actual founders of plastic surgery in our city. They invented and introduced into practice many methods of treating various cosmetic defects of the face and body, including complex reconstructive surgeries.
