Correction of the bony part of the nose pyramid in aesthetic rhinoplasty using endoscopic assistance
The article presents the results of a comparative study of the effectiveness of endoscopic assistance in the correction of the bony part of the nasal pyramid in aesthetic rhinoplasty. Based on the data of 90 patients divided into three groups (open, closed, and endoscopic rhinoplasty), the authors evaluated the trauma of the surgical intervention, the quality of visualization of the surgical field, and the duration of postoperative rehabilitation. The obtained data demonstrate the advantages of the endoscopic method: a decrease in intraoperative trauma to 4.5 points (vs. 6.4 and 6.23 in the control groups), an improvement in visualization to 8.5 points (vs. 5.13 and 5.0, respectively), and a reduction in the recovery period to 10 days (compared to 23 and 18 days). Statistical processing of the results confirmed the significance of the differences (p<0.05). The use of endoscopic techniques minimizes damage to surrounding tissues, provides precise visual control of all surgical steps, and reduces the rehabilitation period while preserving the natural functionality of the nose. These results support the implementation of endoscopic assistance in aesthetic rhinoplasty as an effective alternative to traditional methods of correcting the bony structure of the nasal pyramid.
