Real-Time Visibility, Traceability and Automation among Food Supply Chain Collaborators under Integrated Tactics of Industry 4.0
Industry 4.0 is a critical revolution which has the modern resources to handle the situation dynamically. Automation such as real time visibility and traceability are the major factors in food supply chain management (FSCM). It is mandatory to adopt the modern tools by the collaborators and suppliers towards the critical challenges. Food supply chain was affected by the identified challenges. Firstly, the identification of challenges has been set and strategies have been taken for multi criteria decision making (MCDM) the SWARA and TOPSIS techniques which provide the top prioritization through the ranking. The “immediate insights and vigilant”, “difficulties in tracking” and “limited transparency” are the most important identified factors by prioritization. The case study of a company has been taken and on the basis of the results of the strategies used by collaborators is identified best and suitable among all seven strategies. The sensitivity analysis indicates the ranking, which mostly remains closer and show 100% robustness. In this study the involvement of experts group makes strategic frame for the challenges in FSCM. The importance of the study indicates to make collaboration, maximize profit in low risk under uncertainty. The innovators and entrepreneurs and researchers can utilize this framework for gaining profit.
