Diseño y Efecto de Herramientas Lúdico-Pedagógicas sobre el Perdón en Personas Víctimas del Conflicto Armado en el Caribe Colombiano

Forgiveness is an adaptive coping strategy to deal with the pain caused by an offense, favoring the mental health of the forgiver. However, there is little empirical evidence on the effectiveness of ludic-educational instruments for the promotion of forgiveness in victims of the Colombian armed conflict. Thus, the aim was to develop ludic-educational instruments to promote forgiveness in this population by means of two studies. Study 1 focused on the creation of these instruments, for which the needs of the population were identified, using a focus group (n = 10), the concept was designed, tested through consultations (n = 387), and prototypes were developed. Study 2 focused on determining their effectiveness in a pilot application (n = 30), with pre-post measurement on an experimental group and a control group. The comparative results show that only the experimental group showed a statistically significant increase in forgiveness. It can be concluded that the developed instruments promote forgiveness and constitute alternatives to favor the mental health of victims in Colombia.

Thus, the aim was to develop ludic-educational instruments to promote forgiveness in this population by means of two studies.
