Between Assumptions and Breakthroughs: Contextualizing the Nuclear Program of Iran in Contemporary Perspective
The nuclear program of Iran has passed between assumptions and breakthroughs. The Iranian government has always denied any ambition to develop a nuclear program in the strategic domain. The leaders always strictly insisted on complying with the peaceful path of nuclearization based on the international protocols of using civil nuclear technology. However, Tehran's Middle East competing forces, such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the USA, have grievances over the excessive uranium enrichment at various sites located in different regions of Iran. The states believed that Tehran has the potential threshold to go for the strategic dimension of its nuclear program, whenever it wants to do so. In its flux, Iran's nuclear program is considered a complex issue in its grand strategy. Based on the historical context, present assumptions by stakeholders based in the Middle East and Europe, the research explores the phased dimension under which the nuclear program of Iran has evolved. It also find a scale upon which, at different phases, several countries assisted this program? The contemporary dimensions of this nuclearization are widely hailed as a bold threat not only to the domestic security environment but is equally dangerous for regional and international peace and stability.
