Non‐Contact Transfer Printing Enabled by an Ultrasonic Droplet Stamp (Adv. Mater. Technol. 17/2024)

Non-Contact Transfer Printing In article number 2400465, Jizhou Song, Fuxing Miao, and co-workers report a simple design of ultrasonic droplet stamp featuring a water droplet on an acoustic resonator attached to a glass sheet. The designed stamp enables a gentle and conformal contact without ultrasound for reliable pickup and an ejection of a sub-droplet via Rayleigh instability with ultrasound for efficient non-contact printing.

Abstract

Non-Contact Transfer Printing In article number 2400465, Jizhou Song, Fuxing Miao, and co-workers report a simple design of ultrasonic droplet stamp featuring a water droplet on an acoustic resonator attached to a glass sheet. The designed stamp enables a gentle and conformal contact without ultrasound for reliable pickup and an ejection of a sub-droplet via Rayleigh instability with ultrasound for efficient non-contact printing.
