Generalized (๐œƒ,๐œƒ)-derivations in prime rings with involution

In this paper, our purpose is to investigate the commutativity of rings with involution in which generalized [Formula: see text]-derivations satisfy certain algebraic identities. Some well-known results characterizing commutativity of prime rings have been extended. In addition, we provide some examples to show that the assumed restrictions cannot be relaxed.

Abstract

In this paper, our purpose is to investigate the commutativity of rings with involution in which generalized [Formula: see text]-derivations satisfy certain algebraic identities. Some well-known results characterizing commutativity of prime rings have been extended. In addition, we provide some examples to show that the assumed restrictions cannot be relaxed.
