Ancient Tamil literatures describe the lifestyle of ancient Tamils in a variety of ways. Literatures continuously make every event of society a reality like a shadow. These literatures have acquired various dimensions according to the needs of the times. Moral literatures indicate that those who have learned the ways of life should strive to live in the way of morality. This study aims to reveal the nature of not only emphasizing morality but also containing scientific facts through eighteen books. Furthermore, the aim of this study is to reveal the way in which ancient Tamil writers had versatile knowledge.
