Hortiboletus swaticus sp. nov. Boletaceae, Boletales from Himalayan forests of Pakistan

A new species of the genus Hortiboletus is proposed. The identification is based on morphological characters and molecular phylogenetic analyses using ITS and 28S sequences of nrDNA. A comparison of the morphological features and molecular phylogenetic data with the taxa in Hortiboletus confirms the identity of the species as new. Detailed descriptions, micro‐photographs, line drawings, and phylogenetic results are given.
