Datasets and scripts GSA-MD article
Data and postprocessing scripts for the HZDR and LLC datasets This repository contains the datasets and the postprocessing scripts to recreate some of the figures included in a submitted manuscript on the Gerchberg-Saxton Algorithm with Mode Decomposition (GSA-MD), in particular those using the Helmholtz-Zentrum Desden Roessendorf (HZDR) and Lund Laser Centre (LLC) datasets. Instead, the files needed to recreate the figures on the comparison between the GSA-MD results and the Particle in Cell simulation using Smilei (https://smileipic.github.io/Smilei/) can be found in a GitHub repository: https://github.com/SmileiPIC/Smilei_import_GSA_MD_results How to use it First, download and install the gsa_md Python library from https://github.com/GSA-MD/GSA-MD The libraries needed to use the scripts in this archive are the same needed to use the gsa_md library. Download and unzip the archive. This will create a folder with the subfolders outputs_*, containing the results of the GSA-MD applied to the HZDR dataset. The LLC_dataset subfolder is included as well, with the fluence images from the LLC dataset. To use the scripts in the folder scripts_article_figures, use the command line shell/terminal to navigate to the directory containing the outputs_* folders. From there, open an IPython console. You can run each script with the command%run generate_figure_...where you need to use the name of the selected script. Note that these scripts were tested using the interface IPython. Acknowledgements The authors wish to thank S. Schöbel, P. Ufer, M. LaBerge, Y.-Y. Chang, F. M. Herrmann for providing the experimental data for the HZDR dataset.
