Speculative analysis of the spin and nature of electrons
To analyze the concept of spin, in this article, the initial historical hypothesis of the rotational motion of electrons and the subsequent criticisms raised by Wolfgang Pauli against this hypothesis are first examined. Pauli argued that for an electron to produce the required angular momentum through rotational motion, it would need to spin at a speed that exceeds the speed of light, which is not physically possible. Building on this critique, an idealized mathematical model is introduced on the basis of classical and relativistic theories, where an electron's tangential velocity is instead set equal to the speed of light. This hypothetical framework enables a speculative analysis of the nature of electrons, particularly regarding their mass and intrinsic properties, thus allowing for a deeper exploration of Einstein's relation between mass and energy.
