Building Communities and Shifting Data Stewardship Paradigms
This contribution was presented at the Czech Data Stewards Community event, held on September 25 at the National Library of Technology in Prague. The presentation examines the current state of the German Data Stewardship (DS) community by tracing its origins and outlining its roadmap. It also explores some data stewardship paradigms that address evolving research and institutional needs, and highlights the integration of institutional Research Data Management (RDM) strategies and governance models. A particular focus is placed on the Research Output Management Planning approach (ROMPi), and how it can help promote key enablers, triggers, and routines that support effective RDM practices within institutions.
