A source database for content analysis of scientific publications on the topic "Current Directions for the Development of University Libraries"

For the purpose of a comparative analysis of current trends in the development of university libraries, based on a content analysis of summary scientific publications published in the last eighteen months (2024-2025) in the open databases of scientific literature Dimensions, Open Alex, GoogleScholar, eLIBRARY.RU, publications were identified according to the following criteria: 1) novelty, which was reflected in limiting the search to the period 2024-2025; 2) peer-reviewed nature; 3) generalizing (review) type of publication. Limitation by subject matter was achieved through a search using Boolean operators in the search instruction and applying the filters "title", "keywords", "abstract". When identifying records in international information resources, the concept of "academic library" in the meaning of "university library" was used as a search term. A search of the scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.RU was conducted using the terms "university library," "university library," "university library," and "university library." For the final selection, the identified set of records was reviewed de visu; a total of 28 works were selected for review.
