Intégration humain-système orientée par la sécurité pour les trains semi-autonome

Introducing the Automated Train Operation (ATO) system into the manual driving trains promise more efficient, eco-friendly and precise railway system operations. Human roles and responsibilities evolve along with this increasing automation of railway system. With this transition to automated trains, the railway safety related to human and organizational factors must be re-examined.This work contributes to achieve a safety -oriented human system integration based on the PRODEC method. The PRODEC method is scenario-based method which enables the integration of human factors at the early design phase. Human-in-the-loop simulation provides procedural knowledge of human activities during the operations. By comparing these activities with the prescribed tasks, design engineers can discover the emergent properties and functions to integrate into the current design. The simulation scenarios cannot be exhaustive regarding the limited resources for system development. This work extends the PRODEC method with safety-oriented extensions to provide a practical guideline of scenarios design and prioritization. The safety-oriented extensions include various risk analysis methods based on different kind of data and resources available at each development phase. The incident analysis of the AS-IS system within French railway network provides the safety-critical elements of the existing manual driving system. The interviews with train drivers complete these results with the domain experts field knowledge. This risk analysis contributes to identify the safety-critical elements to be included in the human-in-the-loop simulations and prioritize the scenarios accordingly. These identified scenarios are then modeled using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) to visualize functions and tasks for each engaged agent. These BPMN diagrams facilities the exchange between the system designers and field operators.
