UNIMOBILE: ENHANCING UNIVERSIDAD DE MANILA STUDENT EXPERIENCE THROUGH A SMART MOBILE PORTAL APPLICATION

The application aims to improve school communication and improve the process by offering real-time gradeviewing, subject schedules, faculty evaluation, announcements, chatrooms, and an event calendar all on a singlemobile platform. The primary goal is to provide a solution that satisfies the needs of the university community, especially students who rely heavily on mobile devices. The Agile methodology and a developmental designwere employed in the study. To find issues with the current portal, information was gathered via surveys, interviews, and observations. Flutter and Firebase were used in the development of the system, which wasfrequently tested for functionality, dependability, usability, integration, performance, and user acceptancetesting. According to gathered results, UniMobile addresses problems with poor mobile accessibility, restrictedcommunication, and information flow delays. User feedback verified that the prototype provides betterorganization, quicker navigation, and enhanced communication between administrators, teachers, and students. The findings demonstrate how a mobile portal promotes a more welcoming learning environment. UniMobilereduces misunderstandings, speeds up the delivery of updates, and helps students better handle theirinformation. Faster communication and easier information sharing also benefit administrators and faculty.UniMobile enhances the UDM portal's usability and accessibility. The app solves the shortcomings of thecurrent system and meets the expanding digital demands of the university community by offering a solution.
