Philosophical Supplement: On the Balance Between Consistency and Freedom
This supplementary note accompanies two main papers:“Λ Decrease Driven by Information Entropy Production: Toward a Unified Framework of Information Theory, Thermodynamics, and Cosmology”and“The Lorentz Factor γ Represents the Rate of Change of Information Entropy: Toward a Unified Framework of Information Theory, Thermodynamics, and Cosmology” It provides a philosophical clarification of their conceptual intent — emphasizing that the presented framework is not a closed system of predictive equations, but an open structural analogy. The purpose of this supplement is to guide interpretation toward understanding the theory as a reflection of how consistency and freedom coexist within observation and cognition, rather than as a deterministic cosmological model. By articulating the role of the observer, this note aims to preserve the openness of meaning within the proposed structure, ensuring that observational agreement is viewed as an expression of structural correspondence, not as final proof.
