More than fifteen rivers have been mentioned in the Sangam poems. The rivers recorded in the Sangam poems are natural resources. These resources are renewable resources. Rivers fulfill the basic needs of the Sangam people and also serve as fields of ecological thought. Naturally occurring rivers are subject to change over time. In this way, the article studies the ancient boundaries of the Cauvery River. The objective of the research article is to introduce the Cauvery River as mentioned in the Sangam records and to study the records of its tributaries and tributaries through the authors.
