The Unified Master Equation: A Dimensionless Constant α = 1.5 as the Foundation for a Theory of Everything
We present the Unified Master Equation (UME), a framework that unifies gravitational, quantum, and cosmological dynamics through a structural imbalance between contracting and expanding contributions, fixed by the dimensionless constant α = 1.5. This value is not a free assumption. The asymmetry parameter is empirically anchored at α ≈ 1.5, with an observationally consistent range of 1.47–1.53. Within UME this value is not treated as a tunable parameter but as a measurable constant, subsequently shown to be symmetry-protected and RG-stabilized across independent sectors. The imbalance is formulated in terms of a Δ–Σ vacuum sector, pre-geometric at high densities, which prevents singularities and anchors both dark matter and dark energy as dual manifestations of the same underlying dynamics. The renormalization analysis shows that α\alphaα is RG-protected as an infrared pseudo-fixed point. Within this framework, unitarity in black-hole evaporation is preserved, with information encoded in Δ–Σ degrees of freedom rather than lost at a singularity. The same mechanism removes the initial Big Bang singularity, describing cosmogenesis as a transition from a pre-geometric vacuum to FRW spacetime. At cosmological scales, UME reproduces the background expansion history H(z)H(z)H(z) in close agreement with ΛCDM, while explaining the 60/40 contraction–expansion strength ratio as a structural property. The Unified Master Equation (UME) is a symmetry-based, parameter-free framework grounded in a Δ–Σ vacuum structure with a single asymmetry constant, α = 1.5. From this core principle, ab initio derivations are achieved for a wide set of observables. These include: (i) the cosmological expansion function H(z), (ii) the fine-structure constant α_EM, (iii) the electron–proton mass ratio, (iv) the proton radius anomaly, (v) the g–2 anomalies for e⁻ and µ, (vi) the H₀ and S₈ tensions, (vii) neutrino mass observables, and (viii) the strong CP problem. These results collectively enhance the explanatory power, internal consistency, and falsifiability of the UME framework. The work elucidates the pervasive 3/2 scaling (d/2 in 3D) as a vacuum echo from α=1.5, traced via simulations (Gaussian integrals, diffusion, partition functions, oscillators, fermionic gases, QCD plasma, weak cross-sections, gravitational Friedmann) in a causal tree hierarchy: from Δ–Σ stem through RG-stable branches to leaves. UME posits α=1.5 as the driver for 3D preference, averting 1D/2D instabilities. This work also connects to speculative proposals, notably Penrose’s objective reduction and Bohm’s implicate order, which similarly consider consciousness as linked to a pre-geometric vacuum structure. UME provides a mathematically explicit framework where the observer resides outside space–time and physical reality emerges as its projection. Finally, the theory is falsifiable: it predicts a new Δ-boson mediator, possible deviations in short-range forces, signatures in black-hole spectroscopy and gravitational waves, and cosmological imprints in CMB, BAO, and growth data. Taken together, these results position UME as a comprehensive and testable candidate for a Theory of Everything.
