FLUORIMETRIC ASSESSMENT OF PHOTOSYNTHETIC ACTIVITY OF MICROALGAE CELLS DURING BIOTESTING
The results of a study of the surface waters of the Krynka River, including the Khanzhenkovskoye, Olkhovskoye and Zuyevskoye reservoirs, for the autumn period of 2024 are presented. The toxicity of water samples was analyzed by biotesting on a laboratory test culture of Chlorella sorokiniana cells. For a more detailed assessment of changes in the state of microalgae culture, methods of fluorimetric determination of photosynthetic activity of cells by induction curves of chlorophyll fluorescence were used. According to the results of the study, the stimulating effect of water samples from the Zuyevsky and Olkhovsky reservoirs on the test culture was revealed, which was reflected in an increase in the chlorophyll content in the test culture and an increase in photosynthetic activity of cells by increasing the efficiency of electron transfer between photosystems.
