Sensorless Control of PMSM Based on Hybrid Flux Linkage Model with Angle Error Compensation and Online Sator Resistance Identification

To address the sensitivity of position sensorless control based on hybrid flux linkage in permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) to measurement noise and parameter mismatch, this paper proposes a hybrid flux linkage model incorporating angle error compensation with online resistance identification. By establishing dynamic equations of the estimated reference frame with angle error terms and integrating an extended state observer (ESO), we achieve accurate angle error estimation and compensation. Simultaneously, the stator resistance is identified using a forgetting-factor-based recursive least squares (RLS) method through voltage equations in the estimated reference frame. This approach effectively resolves the stability issues caused by stator resistance mismatch in conventional hybrid flux linkage models at low speeds. Experimental results validate the algorithm’s effectiveness across various low-speed operating conditions.
