Analysis of Impact of Selected Weather Parameters on Aircraft Takeoff And Landing Distance Using Kolmogorov-Arnold Network
Meteorological parameters such as temperature, wind velocity and direction, and atmospheric pressure play a key role in the takeoff and landing processes of light aircraft. Their influence is particularly important in the context of planning flight operations and ensuring safety at various stages of flight. This article presents an overview of mathematical models that allow determining the length of an aircraft’s takeoff and landing distance. The article presents the process of data collection, learning and validation of an artificial neural network model based on Kolmogorov-Arnold approximation theory for estimating the takeoff and landing distance of an aircraft due to meteorological parameters.
