Research on Control Strategy of Bearingless Flux-Switching Permanent Magnet Motor with Five Degrees of Freedom Magnetic Levitation
To achieve five-degree-of-freedom magnetic suspension control of a bearingless flux-switching motor rotor, this paper takes a bearingless flux-switching permanent magnet motor with five degrees of freedom magnetic levitation (5-DOF-BFSPMM) as the research object. Firstly, mathematical models for the motor's suspension plane and rotation plane are established respectively, and the strong coupling characteristics and nonlinear features of the system are deeply analyzed. On this basis, a five-degree-of-freedom magnetic suspension control scheme for the rotor is designed using a Proportion-Integration-Differentiation (PID) controller, and a rotation control strategy is constructed using a PI controller. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified through experiments. The results of static suspension and dynamic operation experiments show that the designed control strategy realizes stable suspension of the rotor in five degrees of freedom and tangential rotation operation. Moreover, during dynamic operation, the suspension displacement error can be controlled within a range of 0.05mm.
