Chatter suppression based on adaptive decentralized control for micro-milling
The regenerative chatter of micro-milling can lead to the instability of cutting and unexpected surface finish. For controlling chatter vibrations, the mathematical model of micro-milling with chatter vibrations is presented. Based on the model, the active control method and the adaptive decentralized controller are combined. The stability analysis showed that the constrained states can be guaranteed with finite time. The simulation results are given for verifying the effectiveness of presented controller.
