Uniform Dipole Antenna Array for Low 5G Applications

To present a design and performance of optimized uniform dipole antenna arrays for 5 G, we aim to achieve the next-generation communication network required that includes high data rates, low latency, and enhanced connectivity. Current 5G technology demands particular challenges in the design of the antenna to be used for better frequency handling in the higher frequency bands at the places where effective coverage, beam steering, and a gain are highly demanded to maintain signal strength and quality in densely urban environments. Of all feasible solution requirements for the implementation of such necessities, the uniform dipole antenna array can be considered as a suitable candidate in terms of simplicity, wideband characteristics, and adaptability. We suggest a study on the effect of critical design parameters, namely, element spacing, number of dipole elements, array configuration, and orientation with respect to performance parameters such as gain, directivity, radiation efficiency, and side lobe levels. The work uses simulation tools to analyze the influence factor on the ability of the array to offer beamforming with minimum interference and maximize coverage in excellent aspects.
