Methodology for Calculating the Share of Parking-Searching Vehicles in Traffic Congestion on Multi-Lane Roads
Drivers often look for parking spots and pull over on the side of the road in central urban streets, particularly in regions with a high concentration of socioeconomic establishments. Vehicles trying to park and the flow of traffic are interfered with by this procedure, which also decreases road capacity and increases traffic. The methodology for determining the proportion of cars looking for parking in total traffic congestion is improved in this article. Researchers have examined the percentage of cars looking for parking in congested areas and the typical amount of time spent hunting for a spot in developed cities across the globe. Studies have also looked at how parked cars on the side of the road affect traffic flow generally and suggested regulations. The Beruniy, A. Navoiy, and Sakichmon streets surrounding Tashkent's Chorsu Bazaar were the sites of observations and mathematical computations for this study. It was assessed how roadside parking and parking-seeking vehicles affected traffic flow and contributed to congestion.
