Two Layer Optimal Scheduling of Integrated Energy System Considering Comprehensive Demand Response

To tackle the economic challenges of an integrated energy system (IES) with substantial renewable energy in the park, a two layer optimal scheduling model incorporating integrated demand response (DR) is proposed. This model enhances load flexibility by combining various DR. A day-ahead and intra-day scheduling approach is employed to minimize renewable energy curtailment and load fluctuations, utilizing a football team training algorithm with adaptive weights to boost optimization efficiency. Case studies reveal that, compared to scenarios without DR, the comprehensive DR significantly lowers daily operating costs, eliminates wind and solar curtailment costs, and effectively reduces power load fluctuations. This leads to decreased equipment maintenance needs and ensures a more reliable power supply.
