A Preliminary Research of Software Productivity from a Software Economics Perspective
Analyzing software productivity has been one of the main goals of software engineering research since its beginnings, especially in the software engineering field. However, most researchers set their focus on the software engineering field, this paper mainly discusses what impact software application type, region, and time factors have on software productivity from a software economics perspective from 2010 to 2018. The analysis illustrates that region has a more significant impact than time and application type on software productivity, only considering software products without indirect costs or fees.
