Clinical Significance Analysis of Patient Embodied Cognition
This article focuses on the theory of "patients embodied cognitive schema" proposed by Professor Liu Hong, and examines major issues from a clinical perspective: the role of sociocultural cues within the framework, the tendency towards simplification of the relationship between physical activity and cognition, the ambiguity of embodied cognition in the fundamental issues of cognition, and the limitations of the "patients embodied cognitive schema" framework in clinical applications for certain diseases, where alternative or more specific schemas might be required. The theory of embodied cognition provides a theoretical framework for understanding patients' cognitive activities in clinical practice. Enriching and improving this framework can help improve the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment, and promote mutual communication and understanding between doctors and patients.
