ENSURING CYBERSECURITY IN MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS THROUGH THREAT ANALYSIS AND DEFENSE MEASURES
This article explores the growing challenges of cybersecurity in military communication systems, focusing on both tactical and strategic operational environments. The study analyzes common cyber threats, including jamming, spoofing, data breaches, malware, and phishing, with attention to their frequency and potential operational impact. By reviewing recent incidents and current defense protocols, the article evaluates the effectiveness of protective measures used in different branches of the armed forces. The findings reveal that while some units employ advanced cryptography and intrusion detection, many communication networks are still vulnerable due to outdated infrastructure and inconsistent security standards. The paper discusses emerging solutions such as artificial intelligence, quantum encryption, and blockchain, emphasizing both opportunities and practical limitations. The conclusion calls for unified multi-level cybersecurity frameworks, continuous investment in advanced technologies, and greater international collaboration to strengthen the resilience of military communication systems against evolving cyber threats.
