Semi-global Stabilization of Linear Systems Subject to Generalized Output Saturation
This paper revisits the problem of semi-global asymptotic stabilization of single input single output linear systems with generalized output saturation. We propose a family of high gain observer-based linear output feedback laws parameterized in a single parameter to achieve the semi-global stabilization of the closed-loop system provided that the openloop linear system is stabilizable and detectable with all invariant zeros located in the closed left-half plane. The generalized output saturation is allowed to be satisfied with the sector condition rather than the standard saturation in existing results. Furthermore, when the output saturation is satisfied with a global linear growth sector condition, the global stabilization of the closed-loop system is achieved. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
