Therefore, they constitute a duality in the field of text linguistics and discourse analysis. The cohesion connects the surface elements, while coherence lies in the textual world itself.The importance of this research comes from the fact that cohesion andcoherence are among the most prominent phenomena that text linguisticsstudents are interested in, as cohesion contributes to textual cohesion. As for thecoherence, it is one of the means of arrangement and one of the criteria of thetext, which is the verbal arrangement, through the semantic connection. We notefrom the results that were reached that the connection between the word and themeaning is likely to enable the weaving of speech, and increase its cohesion andcoherence, which leads to the cohesion of its parts and the alignment of itspillars. However, looking at each of these two elements separately leads to theloosening of the weaving, the loss of the intent, and the disappearance andobscurity of speech.
