Non-Invasive Muscle Performance Assessment via mmWave Radar: A Simulation Study for Healthcare and Sports Science Applications

This study introduces a simulation-based method for evaluating muscle condition through mm-Wave RADAR technology, aiming to enable real-time analysis of muscle characteristics for assessing performance and recovery after physical activity. Leveraging the non-invasive and highresolution capabilities of mm-Wave RADAR, the research models simulates the interaction between RADAR waves and muscle tissue using MATLAB. Key parameters such as signal reflection and muscle behavior are investigated to achieve precise muscle condition analysis without direct physical contact. The simulation results underscore the potential of mm-Wave RADAR in healthcare and sports science, offering an innovative approach to monitor the hydration, stress, and temperature levels of muscles during physical activity and optimizing recovery strategies. The findings highlight the promise of mm-Wave RADAR as a valuable tool for personalized health monitoring in both clinical and athletic settings.
