Fuzzy Control Design for Spatial 2-D Nonlinear Parabolic PDE Systems Using a Mobile Sensor/Actuator Pair

This study presents a fuzzy stabilization design for 2-D nonlinear parabolic PDE systems using a mobile sensor/actuator pair. First, the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model is employed to represent the system. A control scheme is then proposed, where mobile sensor/actuator pair is placed in an area. Using the T-S model and Lyapunov method, a fuzzy stabilization control design is developed to ensure the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable. The mobile sensor and actuator strategy is based on 2-D guidance laws. Finally, numerical simulations confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
