Hydrogen Fuel Cell-Hybrid Energy Storage Ship Integrated Power System Design
Due to the soft output characteristics and slow dynamic response of the hydrogen fuel cell, it cannot provide transient power support during sudden load changes, which leads to bus voltage oscillation and prevents other marine equipment from working normally. In order to improve the applicability of hydrogen fuel cells in marine electric propulsion, this paper proposes an integrated marine power system based on hydrogen fuel cell-storage battery-supercapacitor. The transient power support is realized by using the characteristics of supercapacitor and storage battery with good dynamic properties. Different working modes are selected under different working conditions to make the hydrogen storage ship power system run smoothly. Finally, the feasibility of the system is verified by MATLAB/Simulink simulation, and the hardware experimental platform is built.
