Field Weakening Control Strategy for Position Sensorless PMa-SynRM Based on Voltage Phase Angle Regulation
The current controller in traditional field weakening control suffers from saturation imbalance issues, which leads to large current fluctuations. These fluctuations become more severe under position sensorless control conditions, affecting the operation of permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motors(PMa-SynRM). To address this problem, this paper investigates a position sensorless field weakening control strategy for PMa-SynRM based on voltage phase angle regulation. By directly allocating d-q axis voltages through voltage phase angle adjustment, the saturation conflict problem of dual current regulators is effectively avoided. Additionally, a d-axis high-frequency current feedback component is utilized to compensate the phase angle, further suppressing current harmonics and improving the performance of the position sensorless control system. Field weakening control experiments were conducted on a 2.2kW PMa-SynRM platform, verifying the effectiveness of the proposed method.
