Generative Physics: A Universal Framework for Unifying Quantum Mechanics and Relativity
We propose a novel framework, Generative Physics, wherein the fundamental dynamics of nature emerge from the interplay of a generator — representing the complete space of potential configurations or histories — and a filter, representing global constraints that select physically realized outcomes. In this formulation, energy quantifies potential information throughput, and information quantifies realized distinctions post-filtering. We demonstrate that classical relativity and quantum mechanics arise as special cases under different filter regimes and show how both theories can be unified within a single universal variational principle. This approach naturally accommodates co-determinism, retrocausality, and symmetry breaking, offering a promising pathway toward a unified theory of physics. Note: Feynman’s original intent wasn't to interpret the path integral as "all paths equally real." The amplitudes are summed, not sampled as classical probabilities.Where my framework comes in is to reinterpret the Einstein–Bohr tension:- Locally, the generator (quantum amplitudes) appears indeterministic.- Globally, the filter (consistency conditions) enforces determinism across the whole block universe. In other words, what looks like "random" at the quantum scale is only the local face of global consistency. The Principle of Generative Paradox makes this explicit: the generator necessarily overproduces possibilities, and the filter necessarily constrains them. Both are needed — Bohr’s openness and Einstein’s order aren’t contradictions, but complementary halves of a deeper law.Emergence — https://lnkd.in/d_bUnUx5Is Reality Made of Information? — https://lnkd.in/dk7WS4gnAll Time Exist All the Time? — https://lnkd.in/dk2cJbRYTwo Principles of Reality: Generator and Filter — https://lnkd.in/d5XEmBezPrinciple of Generative Order — https://lnkd.in/dZ7gyhBVPrinciple of Generative Paradox — https://lnkd.in/d_bUnUx5Also, Bell’s theorem rests on assumptions of strict locality and one-way temporal causality, but my framework relaxes both: it adopts a block-universe perspective where outcomes are "co-determined" globally by generator and filter. Thus, GFT sidesteps Bell’s no-go result — not by denying quantum correlations, but by reframing them as manifestations of global consistency rather than local randomness.
