An active damping-based LC-PMSM control method without additional sensors
Although installing an LC filter between the inverter and the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) can filter out high-frequency harmonics and suppress the traveling wave reflection effect during long-wire transmission, it also introduces a resonance problem that threatens the system stability. In order to suppress the resonance, the paper proposes an active damping method that does not require additional voltage or current sensors and constructs a virtual resistance only through the motor stator current, and verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method through simulation.
