ABSTRACT: The primary aim of this study is to explain the significant contribution of the note-taking activity in a specialized university context, in this case, the didactic Master's degree in French. Parallel to this scientific rationale, we will attempt to clarify the notion of comprehension as a skill in use, downstream from structured institutional training. Note-taking and the reinforcement of technical and intellectual skills are then positioned as a foundation for the logic of university work methodology. The aim of this research is also to identify the various cognitive and technical aspects of learners' acquisition and construction of academic knowledge, with a view to exploiting them in learning assessment situations and potentially, depending on institutional objectives, in a socio-professional setting.
