An Improved Dual-Vector Modulation Model Predictive Control Strategy for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor
A dual-vector modulation model predictive control (MMPC) method was proposed to reduce current harmonics in conventional model predictive control for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). To further reduce the current harmonics of the traditional MMPC strategy, this paper proposes an improved dual-vector MMPC strategy. Firstly, this improved strategy extends the virtual voltage vector control set of traditional dual-vector MMPC by reconstructing the basic voltage vectors, thereby further improving the system control accuracy and reducing current ripples; Next, a visual evaluation technique is employed to validate the effectiveness of the improved strategy by comparing the control errors of the two kionds of strategies. Then, this article further proposes an improved voltage vector pre selection method to reduce the computational burden of the algorithm; Finally, the simulation comparison results validate the effectiveness of the improved dual-vector MMPC strategy.
