Expected Applications of Additive Technologies in the Production of Units with Radio Transparency Requirements

The article deals with applications of additive technologies. It should be emphasized that in the production of units with radio transparency properties we are to have special requirements. Additive technologies expand their scope of application every year. The widespread use of additive technologies is due to the acceleration of production processes in the automotive, aviation, aerospace, medical and energy industries. The development of 3D and 5D printing technologies creates opportunities for the design, modeling and production of electronic devices parts with specified requirements for radio transparency, strength, and weight and size characteristics. Changing the filling density and choosing the geometry of the support pattern for samples manufactured by additive technologies allows us to obtain durable and cost-effective parts with the radio transparency requirements necessary for electronic devices without compromising the weight and size characteristics of the devices. The introduction of various additives into materials intended for 3D printing allows you to change the strength and electrical characteristics of future units. Additives uses in various 3D printing technologies. Powder additives usually add to the resin compositions for 3D printing by Digital Light Processing, while continuous fiber reinforcement technologies use for 3D printing by Fused Deposition Modeling. The use of 3D and 5D printing technologies in the design of electronic devices is a relevant technological direction for the radio-electronic industry due to the accelerated timeframes for the preproduction and prototypes units manufacturing.
